INFO SESSION ON WRITING ERASMUS+ "JEAN MONNET" PROJECTS
On December 14, Sumgayit State University hosted an info session on writing Erasmus+ "Jean Monnet" projects funded by the European Union, organized by the international cooperation and foreign students department.
The purpose of the event was to inform employees about writing Erasmus+ "Jean Monnet" projects, selecting priority topics and modules. About 9,000 teachers and more than 1,000 universities from nearly 100 countries have received financial support from the Jean Monnet Activities, proposed by the European Commission since 1989 to promote excellence in teaching and research. Khazar University, ADA University, Azerbaijan State University of Economics, Baku Higher Oil School and Baku State University won the Jean Monnet Module program from Azerbaijan.
Sadagat Fatullayeva, head of the department of International cooperation and foreign students, gave detailed information about Jean Monnet Module, Jean Monnet Chair and Jean Monnet Center of Excellence. Sadagat Fatullayeva mentioned the criteria of project evaluation, the details of the registration of the authors on the portal of the European Union and the uploading of the projects.
The info session, attended by professors and teachers from all faculties, ended with a question-and-answer session.
It should be noted that the European Union has publicly announced Erasmus+ calls for 2024. The deadline for submitting projects is February 1, 2024.
