On December 11, the rector of the university presented to the staff the new appointed deans- the temporary discharger of dean duties  of the School of Engineering professor Ulduz Agayev and temporary dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administration, an assistant professor  Aynura Yəhyayeva. the Rector Elkhan Huseynov noted that Sumqayit state University has a special place among the leading universities, had many successful projects, strengthened material-technical base, raised the quality of teaching, opened  new specialties, in other words has become one of the leading universities.At the presentation  the newly appointed deans of faculties they talked about  the fulfilled work and  forthcoming work.Then there were  appointed new heads of chairs  Sadykh Abdullayev in theFaculty of Technical Sciences of Engineering, Metrology and standardization department, PhD Mehman Ahmadzade Imamverdi  in Economics and Management Faculty of Economics and Management department, Luqman Imran Abdullayev, Associate Professor of the School of Economics and Management, was appointed director of the department of accounting and auditing.
