EDUCATIONAL MEETING ABOUT SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES IN TURKEY AT SSU
On January 29, Sumgayit State University (SSU) organized an information session for students about scholarship opportunities in Turkey, organized by the Career and Graduate employment center.
The event was opened by SSU rector"s adviser, associate professor Konul Abasli, who emphasized that high-level education of young people in our country occupies an important place in the education policy of our country. Noting the existence of various scholarship programs for studying abroad, the advisor gave detailed information about the "State Program for 2022-2026 for Young People to Study in Prestigious Higher Education Institutions of Foreign Countries" and the "Turkey Scholarships" program presented by the government of Turkey.
Konul Abaslı stated that "Turkey Scholarships" is the most comprehensive scholarship program in the world in terms of free academic and cultural program opportunities, along with university and faculty/specialty placement, monthly stipend, university expenses, medical insurance, accommodation, Turkish language course and plane tickets. She spoke about the importance of this program for post-Soviet countries, especially Azerbaijan.
At the event, the head of the Quality Assurance and Strategy department, Gulnar Jafarova, gave additional information about the application rules and required conditions for applying to the scholarship program at the bachelor"s, master"s, and doctoral levels.
In the end, the students" questions were clarified.
