On February 14, the second day of the ‘Science and Engineering’ camp of Sumgait State University was started. Adviser to the rector of SSU, associate professor Konul Abasli met with the camp participants. She expressed his suggestions and expectations about the activities of the camp and wished success to the students. Stating that the main task of the university is to teach learning, the counselor noted that the purpose of the camp is a means of turning theoretical knowledge gained by students in higher schools into practical habits. Also, after the session, the advisor, who listened to the suggestions and comments of the students, pointed out that SSU will do many things in this direction. In the first part of the camp, Tural Shahbazov, Coordinator of the Administrative Department of ‘STP’ LLC, Gunel Musayeva, an employee of the Human Resources Department, and Yusif Ahmadov, the Director of the Marketing Department, spoke and gave detailed information about the company's activities and projects. Later, Ms. Gunel gave information about the ‘Power of Tomorrow’ project and organized an interactive question-and-answer session for the participants. In the end, outstanding students were awarded by the company. After the representatives of ‘Nobelenergy’ company Fuad Mirzayev, the chief talent attraction specialist, and Rza Agaverdiyev, the production and technical service manager of GLENSOL company, informed about the company's structure and working principle at the request of the students, about the fact that the internship opportunities also apply to lower-year students and the path to their career in general. After answering a large number of students' questions together with the company's Human Resources representative, Aysel, the students went on an excursion to STP LLC. In the process of getting acquainted with the working principles and laboratories of the 2 plants, the participants had the opportunity to see the tests conducted at the Cable plant. The participants spent their free time with sports games, as well as team games in English organized by the ‘Language and Translation Center’ of SSU. Day II of the camp ended with the students watching a movie.
