INTERN STUDENTS OF SSU HAVE ORGANIZED AN EVENT IN SECONDARY SCHOOL NUMBER 10
The students of SSU organized an event dedicated to the International Mother Language Day with the 2nd class of Sumgayit City No. 10 secondary school, where they have a pedagogical experience. The event was attended by the director of school No. 10, Samra Guluzadeh, internship supervisor, Tapdig Hajiyev, and a number of practicing teachers.
At the event, it was emphasized that every year February 21 is celebrated as the International Mother Language Day, and that the protection of the mother tongue is not the concern of individual nations, but of humanity in general.
Intern students Zahra Gafarova and Narmin Kardashkhanli talked about the activities of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the development of our native language and noted that in 2001 a legislative framework was created for the successful completion of the transition to the Latin script Azerbaijani alphabet, President Heydar Aliyev on August 9, 2001 August 1 was declared the Day of the Azerbaijani Alphabet and the Azerbaijani Language in the Republic of Azerbaijan with the decree signed by him.
At the event, students sang songs, recited poems dedicated to the letters of the Azerbaijani alphabet and the mother tongue, and organized a fun paint game with the slogan "Let's leave a mark on the future".
