An intellectual knowledge competition was held in SSU on the occasion of International Women's Day
On March 7, in the scientific library of Sumgayit State University, an intellectual knowledge competition was held among female employees dedicated to March 8 - International Women's Day, organized by the Free Trade Union Committee of SSU.
Before the competition, SSU vice-rector for social affairs and public relations associate professor Elmar Khalilov congratulated the employees on International Women's Day and wished them success in the competition.
The competition consisted of 3 rounds and each round consisted of 12 questions.
The team of the Faculty of Philology won the first place, the team of the Faculty of History and Geography II, and the team of the Faculty of Natural Sciences won the third place in the competition of knowledge, which took place in a tense and interesting competitive environment.
At the end of the competition, Rector Associate Professor Rufat Azizov congratulated all the ladies on the occasion of March 8 - International Women's Day and conveyed his best wishes to them. He noted that the Azerbaijani woman stands at the top of the ranks, has made great achievements in the country and in the international world, and speaks for herself in all spheres of public life.
In the end, the rector presented the award and gifts to the winning teams.
