OUR STUDENTS WENT ON AN EXCURSION TO THE AZERBAIJAN MEDICINE MUSEUM
On March 12, at the initiative of Aysel Aghayeva, the senior lecturer of the department of Biology and its teaching methodology, the 358th group of students studying biology of the faculty of Natural Sciences had an excursion to the Azerbaijan Medicine Museum located in Khatai district.
Students were given detailed information about the museum during the excursion. The ancient microscopes, medical instruments, ancient books related to biology and medicine, and personal manuscripts of scientists aroused the great interest of students.
It should be noted that the museum was organized in order to highlight the important parts of the cultural heritage of the Azerbaijani people, the history of the development of medicine and healthcare in the republic from ancient times to the present day, as well as the achievements of Azerbaijani scientists in the field of science. A total of 13,845 items are stored in the museum fund. Here are presented photos of medical facilities that were opened and renovated under the leadership and direct participation of President Ilham Aliyev. Orders and Decrees issued by President Ilham Aliyev in the direction of health reforms are also displayed at the stands.
