The collective of SSU participated in the city-wide Novruz celebration
On March 18, a Novruz celebration was held in front of the Kimyachi Medeniyet Palace in Sumgait with the activities of the head of the city Executive Power Zakir Farajov, city officials, local people and other departments.
Zakir Farajov, the head of the Sumgait City Executive Power, congratulated the city administration and lit the holiday bonfire at the organized event.
Dede Gorgud and Bahar gizi gave their blessing and wished that Novruz holiday would bring success and abundant sustenance to our people.
Later, Mr Zakir Farajov and the guests visited the tents reflecting Novruz traditions set up in front of the palace.
The event was welcomed with interest by the university's various style khonchas reflecting the attributes of Novruz and the colorful dances of the ‘Sema’ dance group, which consists of important members.
The concert program performed by well-known artists and artists of the Republic was ended.
