The XIV international scientific - practical conference was held on theme “The problems of modern translation and culture" in Baku Slavic University on 18th of  December .  The students of Faculty of Philology  Aysel Abulova, Goshgar Amrahov, Sona Hasanova, Gunay Agayeva, Fatma Isayeva and Nasib Alizadeh attended under the leadership of  teachers of  “Azerbaijan language and linguistcs”  department Gunel Pashayeva  and Ilaha Musayeva in the conference. At the plenary session of the conference, student Gunay Agayeva noted in her  speech that  this tradition lasts more than two years. So, in 2014, only two students took part in this conference, but  this year the number has already reached six. Students were successful in different sections of their theses.Under the leadership of scientific leader  Gunel Pashayeva, the student of group 977 - Fatma Isayeva was awarded for her thesis  "The outstanding personality of Oratory speech and political culture - Heydar Aliyev" and thanked  to  Sumgait State University for their attendance.
After the conference, the temporary Dean of the Faculty of Philology of Sumgait State University Assistant Professor Avtandil Mammadov met the students and wished them good luck.
