On April 2, the next lecture of the genre of fairy tales in written literature was organized in the III course 942-942a groups of the Faculty of Philology, Pre-school education specialty III course 942-942a, taught by Sevinj Seyyad gizi Hamzayeva, associate professor of the department of literature of Azerbaijan and foreign countries. Head of the Student Services Department of ADA University, member of Azerbaijan Writers' Union, Gunel Asgarova was invited to the lecture this time.

The main purpose of the invitation was to organize a lively dialogue between students and the writer of modern fairy tales, to investigate and discuss the problems of the modern fairy tale genre, the position of intellectual and psychological-emotional education of babies and children together with the writer.

Gunel's first fairy tale – ‘Peace Pipe’ - which stands out in the field of fairy tales in the modern literary process, won the fairy tale script competition in Canada and was presented at the festival in Toronto. In the same year, he was represented in Hollywood with the script of the tale ‘Peace Pipe’, where the tale was highly appreciated and put on a line with famous blockbusters such as ‘Lord of the Rings’ and ‘Maleficent’.

Associate Professor Sevinj Hamzayeva gave information about the didactic, literary and psychological essence of the fairy tale genre during the lesson, and reviewed the history of the fairy tale genre in the written literature of Azerbaijan. At this level, the literary activity of Mrs. Gunel, who stands out among the writers of fairy tales in modern Azerbaijani written literature, was analyzed. Also, in the lesson, information was given about the Social Responsibility Program called ‘Maarif izila’ developed by writer and youth development expert Gunel Asgarova. The purpose of the program is to promote healthy thinking in the young generation by promoting national and international values such as education, gender equality and environmental awareness. It also seeks to increase awareness of global issues, sense of responsibility, enthusiasm for education, creativity, leadership skills, mental health, patriotism and intellectual abilities by inculcating reading habits.

2024 - Year of Solidarity for the Green World, the project's contribution to the development of society and the ideas it instilled in young people to be more attentive to nature were emphasized, the author's desire to educate children about the importance of the green environment through the fairy tale ‘Leyli and the Little Man's Secret’ dedicated to nature was specially valued.

Mrs. Gunel, in her turn, presented an interesting slide containing problems relevant to the subject of the lesson, the stylistic features of fairy tales were elaborated, and its important role in the education of children was emphasized.

During the actively held lecture, students engaged in a lively dialogue with the young writer with interesting questions.
