‘BOOKSHOP ON WHEELS’ AT SSU

On April 3, a book sale fair was organized in the main educational building of Sumgait State University under the organization of ‘Ganun’ publishing house. For the development of education and reading culture in Azerbaijan, ‘Bookstore on wheels’ promotes books by traveling around regions and villages as a social project. The purpose of creating the project is not to generate income, but to make the book more accessible, to arouse interest in the book.
Teachers, students and employees of SSU bought the books of the publishing house published in different languages with a 20 percent discount at the sales fair.
The exhibition organized at Sumgait State University featured both scientific-popular, translated literature and works of local authors that were of interest to the students, which was met with great interest by the students.
