THE GRAVE OF RAGUF ORUJOV, THE HERO OF APRIL BATTLES, WAS VISITED
On April 5, on behalf of the collective of Sumgayit State University, one of the heroes of the April battles, the martyred lieutenant colonel Raguf Orujov, who fought as part of the Special Forces for the liberation of Talish village of Aghdara region from the Armenian invaders, was visited in Sumgayit Martyrs" Alley and flowers were laid on it.
On behalf of the management and staff of SSU, expressing condolences to the family members of the martyr, associate professor Elmar Khalilov, vice-rector for Social affairs and public relations, emphasized that Raguf Orujov, who was born in Aghdam district. The life path of our martyred officer has become an example for younger generations, Elmar Khalilov noted that SSU students are sufficiently informed about the combat path of the highly educated lieutenant colonel.
Later, by the order of President Ilham Aliyev, a moment of silence was commemorated in front of the grave of the hero who was posthumously awarded the " İgidliyə görə" medal.
