AN INFO SESSION ABOUT THE UNION OF YOUNG FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHERS WAS HELD AT SSU

On April 5, Sumgait State University organized an information session about the Union of Young Foreign Language Teachers, which is part of the Azerbaijan Young Teachers Association (AYTA).
Associate professor Gunel Pashayeva, dean of the faculty of Philology of SSU, welcomed the guests and participants, spoke about the importance of the meeting, the great importance given to the teaching of foreign languages at the university, the activities of the Language and Translation Center, as well as the organization of a number of projects to support English language learners and teachers.
Then, the chairman of the Union of Young Foreign Language Teachers, also a graduate of SSU, Gunay Akbarova, gave detailed information about the Union, its activities for 2023 and 2024, strategic goals and membership. She said that the main goal of the info session is to increase the awareness of teachers about the Union of Young Foreign Language Teachers and to involve them in activities by becoming members of the union.
At the end, the questions of the participants were answered.
