‘INNOVATIVE METHODS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATION II’ COMPETITION IS LAUNCHED
‘Innovative methods in the development of education II’ competition is launched
The Education Development Fund announces the ‘Innovative methods in education development II’ competition for students of local higher education institutions. The purpose of the competition dedicated to the 101st anniversary of the birth of national leader Heydar Aliyev is to create an opportunity and support students to present their ideas and proposals that can contribute to the development of education, guided by the Great Leader's concern for science, education and youth. Students studying at bachelor's and master's levels of higher education institutions across the country can participate in the competition.
Ideas and proposals submitted to the competition should cover one of the following priority areas: • Inclusion in education
•Results-oriented management in education
• Application of ICT in teaching process and management
• Early and preschool education
• Non-formal and informal education
• Lifelong learning
• The role of quality education in the fight against climate change
The competition consists of 2 stages.
I stage The ideas and proposals presented by the participants will be evaluated on a 100-point scale based on the following criteria:
• Compliance of the presentation with one of the priority areas of the competition - 20 points
• Relevance of the topic within the priority area - 15 points
• Accuracy of goal, task and expected results – 10 points
• The usefulness of the implementation of the proposed proposal to the beneficiaries in the priority area - 15 points
• Applying an innovative approach to problem solving – 20 points
• Application of creativity in the quality preparation of the presentation - 20 points
The transition score from stage I to stage II is 60 points. Submissions are accepted only in the Azerbaijani language. II stage Applicants who have met the requirements of the first stage and scored a minimum of 60 points will be entitled to participate in the second stage of the competition. At this stage, the students will perform in front of the jury consisting of professionals with their presentations addressing one of the priority areas of the competition.
In the II stage, the participants will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
• Presentation skills – 5 points
• Justification of the ideas put forward - 5 points
• Time management (the maximum duration for the presentation is set at 7 minutes) – 5 points
The first 3 finalists with the most points according to the mentioned criteria will be the winners.
Awarding will be done in the following form:
1st place - 1000 AZN
2nd place - 750 AZN
3rd place - 500 AZN
Acceptance of proposals to be submitted to the competition will be carried out by filling out the application form starting from April 1, 2024 and ending on April 14, 2024.
