TRAININGS WITHIN THE ‘PROFESSIONAL SPEAKERS SERIES’ CONTINUE AT SSU

Sumgait State University's Career and Alumni Center continues its training within the ‘Professional Speakers Series’ organized for the purpose of preparing students for working life. The next training was organized jointly with the State Agency of Azerbaijan for Highways on the topic ‘Career and development’.

Nasiba Amirbeyova, director of the Career and Alumni Center of SSU, who opened the event with her opening speech, welcomed the guests and participants and emphasized the importance of the trainings organized within the framework of the PSS project in the career development of young people. She noted that the purpose of such trainings is to ensure the integration of young people into the career and labor market and to teach them modern job search skills.

Then Saida Aghayeva, Deputy Director of Human Resources of the Azerbaijan State Agency for Highways, spoke on the topic ‘Career and development’ and informed the students about the company she represents, career planning, the ability to make a correct presentation, preparing for an interview, writing a CV, resume, knowledge and skills, made a presentation on improvement, individual action plan, acquiring management skills, improvement process of business activity and other topics. She shared her experience in this direction with the students.

At the end of the training, there was an interesting exchange of ideas on the topic.
