The curriculum training was summed up on the 5 of December. The participants of the training shared their thoughts with us.
The head of the department “New and the newest history of European and American countries” prof. Shirkhan Salimov said: “ Curriculum is the education document that gives opportunity to organize all activities connected with the teaching process. Before starting to learn curriculum one must clarify the adopted state documents. These documents are ”The law of Azerbaijan Republic about education “(19 June 2009), Conception of attestation of Azerbaijan Republic in the general education system”(13 January 2009) and “State standards and programs of general education level” (3 June 2010 ). From the very beginning of the training these documents were the main information source for us.”
The head of the department “ Teaching methods of Azerbaijan language and literature” PhD. Yusif Aslanov said: The curriculum training organized at our university attracted the participants’ attention from the very first day. The difference between curriculum and traditional education program was clarified for us. Curriculum demands us to form tomorrow’s well improved personality. It means that curriculum reflects not only the whole necessary competences, contents and attestation standards, teaching plans and programs but also the problems and the ways of their solution . So we, teachers have the responsibility to teach our future teachers the aim and the duty of curriculum.”
The students fulfilled the course PhD Matlab Aghayarov, Mehman Sadiqov, Fakhraddin Aliyev, assistant Oktay Aliraslanov shared their thoughts :” Today’s great demand is learning the system of new training.The course was well organized. The training time and the auditorium were well chosen and supplied with all the necessary technical and visual aids. During the training we studied the main contents, principles and structure of the curriculum.
The lecturer of the course Sevda Quliyeva did her best to make the lesson more interesting and unforgettable for us. So we inform our deep gratitude to the authorities of the university and the persons who organized this course.
