Under the scientific leadership of SSU, Sumgait schoolchildren were awarded the prize at the XIII republic competition ‘Future Scientists’
On April 17, the opening ceremony of the 13th national competition ‘Future Scientists’ was organized by the Ministry of Science and Education, the Institute of Education, the State Agency for Preschool and General Education, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Heydar Aliyev Center, the Confederation of Azerbaijan Trade Unions, and the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan.
At the event, Fuad Garayev, deputy director of the Institute of Education, project director, presented a report on the statistical indicators of the competition. Fuad Garayev gave detailed information about the
registered, accepted and evaluated projects in 8 directions. He noted that 113 of the 652 projects registered for the competition won the right to participate in the exhibition.
In his speech, Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev emphasized that the interest in the competition held in the country since 2012 is increasing year by year. The minister spoke about the important role of the competition in revealing the knowledge and skills of modern-minded and creative young people, and in their formation as researchers-experts according to high standards.
After the official part of the event, the guests got acquainted with the handiwork of the finalists.
It should be noted that under the scientific guidance of Sumgait State University, Sumgait schoolchildren participated in the finals with 22 projects, 9 of them were awarded prizes.
