AN INFORMATION SESSION OF AZERBAIJAN CYBER SECURITY CENTER WAS HELD AT SSU
On April 23, an information session on the fourth wave of the Azerbaijan Cyber Security Center was held at Sumgait State University.
The center's cyber security specialist, mentor Farzali Valiyev, project coordinator Melek Huseynova and the university's student staff participated in the presentation.
Nasiba Amirbeyova, director of the the Career and Graduate Employment Center greeted the participants and gave information about the relevance of cyber security issues in the modern information age in our country, existing and possible
cyber threats and data protection. She noted that security is very important in the virtual world as well as in real life.
Project coordinator Malak Huseynova spoke about the main components of research in the field of cyber security, the Azerbaijan Cyber Security Center, the teaching and applied methodologies here, as well as the Azerbaijan Cyber Security Center, which was jointly established by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, and the Technion Institute of Technology of Israel and gave a detailed speech about the new IV wave of training.
Mentor Farzali Valiyev, who gave information about the training registration process, talked about the purpose of the project. He said that the training will last for 6 months. Within the framework of the program, it is planned to train 2 groups of specialists: "Red Team" (attack), "Blue Team" (defense). Teams will develop their skills by participating in simulations during training. Those who successfully complete the program will be presented with an official certificate of the "Technion" Institute of Technology. At the end of the presentation, there was a wide discussion and exchange of ideas about the project, numerous questions of the students were answered. Active and distinguished students were awarded by the center.
