‘GREEN VISION’ seminar was held organized by the Language and Translation Center of SSU
On April 30, within the framework of the ‘Solidarity for Green World’ year, a seminar in English called ‘Green Vision’ was held under the organization of the Language and Translation Center of Sumgait State University. The seminar was attended by the staff of the Language and Translation Center, as well as students and guests of the English language courses organized jointly with the Celt College.
The director of the Center, Zhala Mammadova, who opened the event with an introductory speech, welcomed the participants, introduced the speakers and wished success to the students and employees studying English at the Center.
At the event, Nubar Guliyeva, an employee of the Department of Automation and Management of the Faculty of Engineering, spoke about ‘Necessity of Automation in our life’, Mehriban Mammadova, a senior teacher of the Department of Biology and its Teaching Methodology of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, spoke about ‘Renewable and non-renewable resources’), Ali Gurbanov, a second-year student of the Faculty of Engineering,
presented ‘Hazards of Batteries’, and Nijat Rahimov, a second-year student of the Faculty of Economics and Management, presented ‘Alternative energy sources’.
