The 24th Republican Scientific Conference has started at SSU

On May 16, Sumgait State University held the XXIV Republican scientific conference of Masters students dedicated to the 101st anniversary of the birth of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev.

The conference was attended by graduate students, heads of structures and teaching staff of scientific and educational institutions of our republic.

Associate Professor Rufat Azizov, rector of Sumgait State University (SSU) and Anar Nagiyev, rector of Baku Slavic University (BSU), laid flowers in front of the bust of great leader Heydar Aliyev in the lobby of the university and expressed their deep respect to him.

At the conference held in the Great Assembly hall, the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played, and the dear memory of our

martyrs who died for the battle of our territory was commemorated with a minute"s silence.

Then Vice-Rector for Science and Innovations Associate Professor Elshad Abdullayev gave information about the program of the conference. He noted that the XXIV Republican Scientific Conference of Masters, which will last for two days, will continue its work in 13 sections. The conference was attended by 560 people from 19 scientific and educational institutions, 519 theses were accepted after the plagiarism check, and a collection of conference materials was printed.

Associate Professor Elshad Abdullayev stated that Sumgait State University - 221, Baku Slavic University - 201, Odlar Yurdu - 42, Azerbaijan State Agrarian University - 25, Azerbaijan Technical University - 7 and other scientific and educational institutions participated in the conference.

At the conference, the rector of SSU, associate professor Rufat Azizov, greeted the speakers and spoke about the involvement of young people in scientific work with the satisfaction of seeing them at the university. He said that with the Science Education Project, Sumgait State University has been hosting the Master"s Republican El Conference for the 24th year and opening opportunities and supporting young researchers. This also increases the interest in science and scientific research among undergraduates.

Rector talked about the conditions created for the development of young people and the successful activity of young researchers at the university. He stated that optimization of science funding, deepening of science, education and economy construction, direct development, etc. are the main priorities of state policy. The development of science in SSU with the model of this company, the construction of a world classical science university and the restoration of scientific research works. Steps are being taken to develop and implement programs to acquire research-oriented skills. In this regard, SSU is successfully continued together with scientific research institutes.

The rector also informed about the launch of a new master"s program at SSU with the introduction of BP, the teaching of a joint MBA at SABAH.HUB and Sumgait State University, and wished success to the work of the conference.

At the conference, BSU rector Anar Nagiyev drew attention to the opportunity to increase the scientific activity of SSU-young people every year in the output industry, to bring together the high achievements of the conference and young researchers, to share the scientific achievements of this product, and to make special use of them. , expressed deep gratitude to the management and organizers.

The word was given to graduate students representing universities to speak at the plenary session. Aysha Amrahova, a first-year graduate student of Sumgait State University, and Sezer Mammadli, a second-year graduate student of Baku Slavic University, spoke about the high level of concern for the development of science and education, the role of young people, who are the driving force of the continuous development of these two fields, as well as raising a young generation with a militant spirit for the protection of statehood and becoming great leaders. They talked about the unparalleled services of Heydar Aliyev.

After the artistic part, the conference continued its work in sections.
