‘ECO-TALK’ forum was held within the framework of the ‘Green World Solidarity Year’ and the COP29 Event Plan

‘ECO-TALK’ forum was held with the participation of students and young activists and Absheron-Khizi Regional Youth and Sports Department,
Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations Union, Sumgait State University Student Youth Organization (SSU SYO), Sumgait State Technical College Student Youth Organization (SSTC SYO), Ministry of Health Student Youth Organization of Sumgait Medical College named after Aziz Aliyev, the Absheron-Khizi regional representative office of YDCC and Sumgait regional ‘ASAN service’ center (No 2).
The official part of the event began with the singing of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Later, the dear memory of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and our heroes who died for the sake of the whole of Azerbaijan was commemorated with respect and pride.
At the forum, Farman Kazimov, an employee of the Social-Political and Humanitarian Affairs Department of the Sumgait City Executive Authority, made an opening speech and gave information about the importance of the skills of young people in the environmental field and the work done by the youth of our city in the environmental field, and wished success to the organizers.
Later, a panel meeting on ‘The importance of the COP29 conference in solving global climate changes’ took place with the moderation of Sevgiyya Alizade, the Deputy of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Chairman of the Committee on Natural Resources, Energy and Ecology, Sadiq Gurbanov, the Deputy of the Milli Majlis, the member of the Health Committee, Mushfiq Mammadli, the employee of the State Agency for Service to Citizens and Social Innovations, the volunteer work sector, the supervisory board of the Youth Fund member Emiliya Bayramova and environmentalist, young ambassador for SDG15, head of ‘Green’ environmental initiative group Gulsara Gasimova Khudiyeva.
It should be noted that the main goal of the Forum is to educate students and young people within the framework of the ‘Green World Solidarity Year’.
