THE NEXT TRAINING WAS HELD WITHIN THE "PROFESSIONAL SPEAKERS SERIES".

Meetings with well-known speakers within the framework of the "Professional Speakers Series" project, organized by the Career and graduate employment center of Sumgait State University, are continuing according to the Action Plan regarding the declaration of 2024 as the "Year of Solidarity for the Green World".

On May 20, the next training was held at SSU with the participation of Fuad Javadzadeh, engineer of the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency (ASWRA).

Nasiba Amirbeyova, director of the Career and graduate employment Center of SSU, spoke at the training and spoke about the student-oriented projects implemented at the university in recent times. and serious successes are achieved in the direction of increasing the efficiency of scientific activity results. In the trainings organized within the framework of the PSS project, students get working experience resources, as well as the opportunity to communicate with specialists of various companies. Stating that this training will also be useful for students, Nasiba Amirbayova introduced the trainer Fuad Javadzade to the participants.

The guest speaker - Fuad Javadzade, an engineer of the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency, informed about the activity, strategy and working principle of the company he represents, made a broad presentation on "Progressive engineering" and talked about the importance of COP29 and energy and water resources. He said that in our country, as everywhere in the world, in the fight against the consequences of climate change, the improvement of the environment, the efficient use of water resources and energy sources are among the main priorities. In this direction, one of the 5 national priorities for social and economic development of Azerbaijan until 2030 was defined as "Country of clean environment and green growth".

Then Fuad Javadzade presented the book "Inquiry for Production Engineers".

Through the QR code, the students received 3 books by Fuad Javadzade ("Mechanical engineer's handbook", "Operation of waste water treatment facilities" and "International practice of waste water management").

At the end, students' questions about the topic were answered.
