Our students went on an excursion to the ‘From Waste to Art’ museum

On May 24, within the framework of the ‘Green World Solidarity ear’, under the organization of Turan Shirinov, the chairman of the Economics Club, which operates within the Student Youth Organization and Student Scientific Society of Sumgait State University, the 1st year students of the Faculty of Economics and Management, associate professor of the Department of Economics Lala Valiyeva and the senior teacher of the department Under the guidance of Muhammad Ahmadov, they had an excursion to the ‘From Waste to Art’ museum.

During the tour, the students were given extensive information about the museum, where they got to know the works of art made using unnecessary items and household waste.

It should be noted that in order to give a second life to waste, the ‘From Waste to Art’ museum was established in 2015 on the territory of the ‘Gala’ State History-Ethnography Reserve by ‘Tamiz Shaher’ OJSC with the initiative and support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The museum is not only a work of art by cleaning nature from waste, but at the same time it is of special importance in order to prevent environmental pollution.
