On May 29, 2024, Sumgait State University held an info session on the admission of SABAH groups to the undergraduate level for the 2024-2025 academic year. Rector Rufat Azizov, after welcoming the guests and participants, spoke about the creation of favorable conditions for students who excel in education to receive high-quality education and the importance of SABAH groups in this regard. He said that starting from the 2024/2025 academic year, Sumgait State University will accept admission to SABAH undergraduate groups in Chemical Engineering, Logistics and Transport Technology Engineering, Mathematics and Informatics Teaching. Speaking about the advantages of SABAH groups for students, the Rector noted that they will get opportunities for participation in foreign exchange programs and professional experience in modern enterprises and companies, they will be able to benefit from the organization of education through programs with new content, they will fully acquire competencies in their specialty, and they will be involved in extracurricular activities. At the end of his speech, Rufat Azizov advised every student who wants to become a professional specialist to take advantage of this opportunity created for them. After that, Elsa Samadova, head of the Executive Committee of SABAH groups, informed about the activities of SABAH groups, student admission rules, selection stages, achievements of students and graduates, as well as spoke about the role of SABAH group graduates in the labor market in modern qualified personnel training. She said that the admission of students will be held in regional universities (Sumgait State University, Nakhchivan State University and Karabakh University) for SABAH groups and the registration will continue until June 8.
