THE "KHAMSA" PROJECT IMPLEMENTED WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF MUTUAL COOPERATION BETWEEN SSU AND...

The "Khamsa" project implemented within the framework of the mutual cooperation of the faculty of Philology of Sumgait State University and the Flawless Speech Training Center has been successfully completed. In the three-week long project, the head of the Center of Flawless Speech Psychology, Esmira Gafarova, a speech therapist, and other specialists of the center acted as trainers.

In total, 10 hours of the planned training will include "General speech defects and correction methods" (Esmira Gafarova), "How to get rid of

subconscious traumas?" (Javid Ahadov), "Universal learning design in inclusive education" (Humay Nazarli), "What is sensory integration and why is it important?" (Dr. Nadir Alirzalu), "The role of play therapy in the child"s mental development?" (Alasgarzade Ertogrul) topics were discussed in the direction of increasing students" knowledge and skills.

The specialized students of the faculty of Philology joined these trainings with great interest and were active in the organized discussions. After completing the training, the certificates were presented to the active participants by speech therapist Esmira Gafarova.

Emphasizing the great importance of this project for students, the dean of the faculty, associate professor Gunel Pashayeva, expressed her gratitude to the head of the department of Pedagogy and psychology, associate professor Aytekin Mammadova, and her team, headed by the head of the Flawless Speech Center, Esmira Gafarova, for organizational support.
