Our student won a silver medal at the European University Games
On July 18, Vahid Hasanov, a second-year student of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of SSU, won a silver medal in the men's team karate competition and successfully represented our country at the European University Games held in Mishkolts, Hungary.
On July 22, SSU vice-rector for social issues and public relations Elmar Khalilov met with Vahid Hasanov and congratulated him on his success and wished him success in the next competitions.
At the meeting, the chairman of the sports club, associate professor Zakir Mammadov, reminded that Vahid Hasanov won a gold medal in the 80 kg weight class in the 18-21 age category at the 27th European Fudokan Karate Championship held in Podchetrtek, Slovenia, and emphasized his professionalism in the field of sports.
