Human societies | countries across the planet Earth thrived by harnessing its resources and engineering the nature for own survival and growth. Anthropogenic effects in recent decades are exponential when compared to the past 12,000 years. UN advocates 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs) as a guide for quality human development and sustainability. Myriad anthropogenic activities must embrace decarbonization and circular economy pathways to realise sustainability.

This public lecture seeks to address key questions such as:
a) What education strategies universities can pursue?
b) What research and innovation strategies universities can pursue?
c) How can universities and companies work together for mutual benefit?
d) What are the conducive national policies and regulations?
e) What are the best practices around the world?
f) What is the future of world economy?
g) What is the future of innovation?
