On October 4, an award ceremony was held for the winners of the artistic creativity festival held among students of higher educational institutions in connection with the 101st anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. Araz Pashayev, chairman of the Republican Committee of the Free Trade Union of Azerbaijan Education Workers (RFTUAE), a member organization of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan (CTUA), spoke about the youth policy of our country. He said that our state ensures the activity of young people in the process of state building and in the social and political life of the country, the potential, strength, knowledge and skills of creative young people are highly valued, as well as continuous work is being done to eliminate the problems about educational and social problems of young people, the formation of a creative environment for them, the social and domestic life of young families. Araz Pashayev said that the festival of artistic creativity was held under the joint organization of RFTUAE and the Ministry of Science and Education: "The purpose of the festival is to promote the ideas of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev about our culture, as well as to instill the spirit of patriotism in our youth, to raise the artistic and aesthetic level of our youth by respecting our culture, art, and national traditions. It is also among the goals to help the formation of a cultural lifestyle, to reveal talented young people in different art fields of our art and culture, and to support the development of their abilities."Deputy Minister of Science and Education Firudin Gurbanov said that the foundation of the youth policy in Azerbaijan was laid by National Leader Heydar Aliyev: "Currently, this policy is being successfully implemented by President Mr. Ilham Aliyev. Youth policy is one of the priority directions in Azerbaijan. Every year, decrees and orders related to youth development are signed, state programs are successfully implemented. These events inspire our youth to success."At the same time, the deputy minister congratulated the festival winners and wished them success in their future life and activities. The students who participated in the event thanked for the attention and care shown and suggested that this event be organized every year and that the final concert be held in Shusha.Self-activity collectives consisting of students of 26 higher educational institutions attended at the final concert of the festival held in Heydar Aliyev Palace in May of this year and at the end, diplomas and gifts were presented to the winners of the festival.Students of Sumgait State University Nurtaj Suleymanli, Kanan Ahmadzadeh, Aysu Khanlarova, Punhan Abbasov, Masma Ismayilzadeh, Nazrin Hasanzadeh were awarded an Honorary Decree for their active participation in the mentioned festival. Aydan Mammadova took third place in the "Artistic recitation" (classical) nomination, and the members of the "Sema" dance group of the university took third place in the national dance nomination and were awarded with honorary certificates and gifts.
