On March 13, a training was held on “Artificial Intelligence, the World of Business and Digitalization” at the initiative of the Faculty of Economics and Management of Sumgayit State University, organized by the Center of Excellence. Opening the training, Vice-Rector for International Relations, Associate Professor Konul Abasli welcomed the guests, professors and students, and emphasized that the purpose of the training was to expand the application of artificial intelligence in the world of business, as well as to discuss new perspectives on digital transformation. Then, Director of the Center of Excellence, Ali Rzayev introduced the guests and gave the floor to the Deputy Chairman of Nesibe Aydin Schools, Mirkan Aydin, and Head of SODIGEM, Professor Levent Eraslan. Deputy Chairman of Nesibe Aydin Schools, Mirkan Aydin gave a report on “Educational Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Education”. Mirkan Aydin emphasized the importance of the development of entrepreneurship and innovation in the field of education, and noted the importance of applying new approaches and technologies to shape the future of education. He stated that innovations in the field of education are not limited to technologies, but also that it is important to enrich teaching methods, management systems and school environments with innovations. SODIGEM President Professor Levent Eraslan noted how artificial intelligence will make teaching methods, student-teacher relationships and the use of educational resources more effective and personalized in his report on the topic “How will artificial intelligence change education?”. The professor also touched on the potential of artificial intelligence in the field of automating teaching processes, monitoring student development and meeting individual educational needs. Finally, Nesibe Aydın Schools Deputy Chairman Mirkan Aydın presented the books of the schools as a gift to Vice-Rector, Associate Professor Konul Abasli.
