We sincerely congratulate you on the successful results of your bilateral meetings with the President of the United States of America in Washington, as well as the trilateral meetings with the Prime Minister of Armenia, and express our deep gratitude to you.
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on Strategic Partnership between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the United States of America during your historic meeting with the President of the United States is a very important event in terms of protecting Azerbaijan's national interests, ensuring peace and security in the South Caucasus, and strengthening international cooperation. Thanks to your principled position, far-sighted policy, and decisive leadership, Azerbaijan has become an important voice in the system of international relations. This meeting, in addition to confirming the strategic nature of Azerbaijan-US relations, confirmed the leading role of our country in regional stability and security processes. As a result of your diplomatic initiatives, Azerbaijan is recognized in the international community as a reliable partner, a regional powerhouse, and a model of sustainable development.
Mr. President, the high-level political dialogue, cooperation, and mutual trust relations you have established with the United States will make an invaluable contribution to our country's economic development, energy security, strengthening its defense capabilities, and enhancing its international reputation.
We also assess this meeting as an important diplomatic achievement that will create new opportunities in Azerbaijani-Armenian relations and create conditions for the establishment of long-term stability and lasting peace in the region.
The signing of the Joint Declaration on the Peace Agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia at the White House is a significant historical event that serves to strengthen stability, mutual trust, and long-term cooperation in the region, ensuring a prosperous and secure life for future generations. This is the diplomatic culmination of your military victory as Commander-in-Chief.
As a result of your successful policy, Azerbaijan's international positions are being strengthened, and the national interests of our people are being resolutely defended. We highly appreciate your tireless activity and efforts to protect our state, and we proudly follow all the steps you have taken for the welfare, security and development of the Azerbaijani people. We assure you that, as employees of the only university in Sumgayit, we will continue to unite around you like a fist and support your successful domestic and foreign policy with our practical activities.
