The VI International Conference on "Problems of Cybernetics and Informatics" (PCI 2025) has begun at the Institute of Control Systems (ICS) of the Ministry of Science and Education. The conference is organized by prestigious scientific institutions from Turkiye, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Greece and other countries. Leading scientists from the USA, Turkiye, Japan, Poland, France, Belgium, Georgia, Germany, Australia, Ukraine, Russia, Estonia, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and other countries are participating in the conference. Deputy Director of the State Agency for Science and Higher Education, acting rector of Sumgayit State University, corresponding member of ANAS, professor Aminagha Sadigov attended the opening of the conference. Speaking at the event, he noted that the PCI international conference has been held consistently since its establishment and covers an increasingly wider geography. Professor Aminagha Sadigov noted that cybernetics and informatics encompass a wide range of problems that affect not only technological, but also social, economic, and management spheres. He noted that the indexing of conference materials in reputable international scientific databases has facilitated the recognition of the event by the global scientific community and the dissemination of scientific results to a wider audience. The scientist emphasized that in recent years, the State Agency for Science and Higher Education, together with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, has developed new requirements for international and republican conferences held in the country, submitted them to scientific and educational institutions, and periodically evaluates the events held. This step serves to ensure that scientific events organized in the country comply with international standards. Aminagha Sadigov noted that the conference will make a significant contribution to the implementation of the "Digital Development Concept in the Republic of Azerbaijan" and the "Artificial Intelligence Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025-2028", approved by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He also emphasized that PCI conferences are distinguished by their high level of organization and are supported by the Ministry of Education. He expressed his belief that this event, which is of great theoretical and practical importance, will give impetus to the formation of new ideas and initiatives. Noting the need to devote more space to practical directions in future conferences, he wished the event success.
