Compared to last year, the results of student admission to Sumgayit State University have increased sharply. Thus, for the 2025/2026 academic year, 94.1% of the planned places at the bachelor"s level at SSU have been filled. This percentage was 81.3% last year. While 1,374 people were admitted to the university for the 1,690 planned places allocated for the 2024/2025 academic year, this year this number has increased to 1,765 people for the 1,875 planned places. This represents an increase of 391 people (29%). It should be noted that the number of those admitted to the master"s degree program at Sumgayit State University has also increased by 21.5% compared to last year. If the number of master"s degree students admitted in the last academic year was 251, this year it is305. This increase, recorded at both the bachelor"s and master"s levels, indicates that the academic reputation of Sumgayit State University is strengthening and the educational environment here is improving.
