On November 3, a seminar entitled “The Power and Professional Use of Social Media” was held, organized by the Department of Mathematics and Informatics Teaching Technology. The seminar began with the playing of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan and a minute of silence in memory of the martyrs. Then, a video clip reflecting the power of social media and the struggle on the information front during the Patriotic War was shown. The seminar was opened by Khavar Karimova, a teacher of the Department of Mathematics and Informatics Teaching Technology, who welcomed the participants and informed them about the purpose of the event. Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics, Associate Professor Khalida Hasanova spoke about the role of using artificial intelligence in teacher-student relations. Then, Head of the Public Relations and Communications Department Elgun Rustamlilar spoke about the impact of social media on society today. He also touched upon issues such as the application of artificial intelligence in social media, effective management of paid advertising campaigns, data analysis, and monitoring digital trends. Then, SMM specialist Gunel Abdullayeva spoke about the role of social media in modern communication and social media marketing.
Finally, the students' questions were answered.
