On December 12, an information session on the Digital Skills Program, jointly implemented by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the Ministry of Science and Education, the State Agency for Science and Higher Education, and Ironhack, was held at Sumgayit State University, organized by the Teaching Methodological Center. Director of the Teaching Methodological Center, associate professor Elnara Mammadova emphasized the purpose of the program, its role in the development of digital skills, and the importance of the "IT SkillSprint" project in terms of preparation for the global IT market. The meeting was attended by students who were admitted to the university with high scores. The trainer, Executive Director of the Coders Azerbaijan education center, Riyad Agazade informed the students about the main modules of the program: “DevOps & Cloud Computing”, “Data & AI”, “Cybersecurity”, “Web Development”, hybrid learning model, bootcamp classes and the Ironhack international certificate. Then, Director of the Career and Alumni Center, Anar Dunyamaliyev, and Senior Specialist of the Teaching Methodological Center, Rashad Guliyev also spoke and highlighted the development opportunities of the program. At the end, students' questions were answered and discussions were held about the advantages of the program.
