Training-seminar was held for university's administrative staff within the ESFIDIP  TEMPUS project “The Establishment of a Foundation for the Integration of Disabled People into HEIs of Azerbaijan”. The aim of the seminar was    to raise awareness  about the  European experience,  Centre,  the existing legislative rules, how to work with students with disabilities and their different approaches during the  teaching process, "inclusive and special education concept". Project  coordinator of SSU associated professor Turgay Huseynov made a presentation  and gave detailed information about the European experience, understanding  the inclusive and special education, approaches to persons with disabilities, work  rules with them.
Then the Vice rector  for Science and Innovation, Professor Ramazan Mammadov  highlighted the importance of the project for our republic . The professor also stressed that,  in our society there are different physically disabled  persons  with special talents , and, taking into account that they play a vital role in society the implementation of such projects is  a great importance.
Then  exchanged views on the subject was carried,  the various ideas and suggestions for the next continuity of the project was performed.
Career Center, Scientific Section, the Information and Computing Center, Master's and Doctoral Department, Student Scientific Society, Press and public relations services, the Philological Faculty, staff of the international cooperation department   and other persons  took part in the event.
