On the 21 of September The International Peace Day was celebrated at the Sumgayit State University. At first the rector Elkhan Huseynov greeted all the guests. He gave wide information about the history of the ‘’Peace day’’. He notet that the Peace Day was celebrated in 1981 for the first time. But in 2001 UK suggested to celebrate the Peace Day on  the 21st of September. The Peace Day begins with the rings of Peace Bell in New York. This bell is a present of Japon Parlament and this sentence is written on it. ‘’Long Live Peace in the world’’. To day everybody knows that Azerbaijan is in the condition of war and more than one million people are refugees.
In 1994 when Heydar Aliyev began to lead our country for the second time he could get ceasefire. Today Azerbaijan has got strong army and president Ilham Aliyev. He doesn’t  want a war. He tries to solve this prablem in peace.
Then professors Hasan Sadigov, Shirkhan Salimov, professor-assistans Amirkhanov Isayev,  Avtandilov Agababa made speeches. All noted that peace is very important and all the countries must live in peace.
We  believe and trust our president. And one day we could solve Garabag problem in peace.
