The next meeting of the Scientific Board has been held in Nov 30. Making an opening speech the rector of the university professor Mr. Elkhan Huseynov spoke about the reforms in the different fields, realized activity and the achievements by this activity. Meanwhile, he mentioned about the points in the agenda and events directed to improve the students’ skills and capability. The rector congratulated the vise-rector on humanitarian issues of SSU Mr. Nizami Namazov on the occasion of appointment to Sumgait Education Office as head of the office and wished him many successes.
The head of department on Master and Doctorate (concerning attestation results of dissertators, master’s and doctorate included into scientific boards of faculties) Mr. Ramiz Huseynov made a speech and reported on the points into the agenda. Mr. Isabal Gurbanov (the director of Educational and Methodical center) widely spoke about the results of colloquium and the attendance of classes. Mr. Shirkhan Salimov (New and the newest history of the European and American History), Mr. Fikrat Feyziyev (the head of faculty of differential equation and optimization) and Mr. Isabal Gurbanov widely reported concerning the educational and methodological activity of the faculty and their scientific works. In the results their reports were approved. The head of the Scientific Center docent Mr. Gadir Mansurov made a speech on the conferences’ agenda to be held in 2017 and hereinafter appropriate decisions were made accordingly.
Afterwards, Mr. Turgay Huseynov widely spoke about his business trip to France, Paris. He shared about his attendance and awarded certificate in the trainings within the range of the “ERASMUS+” project which was held in the building of National Conservatory of Art and Mastership. The head of the department of Physics and Semi Conductors the professor Mr. Mahammadli Zarbaliyev also shared on his business trip to Minsk, Belorussia. Namely, about his participation in the International Scientific conference (FFT-2016) dedicated to the “The actual problems of Solid physics -2016” held in Nov 21-26. In the mean time the international scientific conference subjected on “Nanostructure materials – 2016; Belorussia-Russia-Ukraine” took place in parallel. The conference was organized by BNAS of Belorussia, BNAS EPM on materials and The Fund of Fundamental Researches of Belorussian Republic. Generally, the conference has been attended by the representatives of sixteen countries. “While the conference’s break I have been to the faculty of physics of Belorussian State University and got known of educational process and examined the scientific research labs. Mean while, I had a chance to meet the head of department on physics and nano electronics Mr. Vladimir Borisovich Ojayev and to make an interesting exchange of minds with him” said Mr. Zarbaliyev. By the conclusion the meeting went on with the discussions being on the agenda of the Scientific Board.
