By the mutual efforts of Ministry of Sports, the public union “The debate of citizens’ society”, “Healthy Mind” Youth Organization and Debate Club of SSU the contests’ final of “The Debate Forum of Sumgait, autumn 2016” had been held. The team “Bermuda direction” of the faculty of History and Geography and the team “Jamil and his friends” of faculty of Chemistry and Biology won the knowledge contest’s final has been arranged in the Carl popper format dedicated to the subject on “An application of protectionism policy for developed countries is effective”. It should be noted that the aim of the contest is to find out the role of protectionism (protection of entrepreneurship) in the development of entrepreneurship.
The docent Mr. Gafar Atayev (the vise rector on distance, extra, additional education) and the professor Mr. Hasan Sadigov (the head of department of Philosophy and Law) took part in this event and they specially focused their speech on necessity to conduct such kind of contest in order to develop the youth’s knowledge and to strengthen through these debates an outlook of them. 
The head of the Students Youth Organization Mr. Nijat Huseynov made a speech and noted that the role of the debates is very big in order to develop the youth knowledge and he assured that such kind of contests will be realized in the upcoming future as well. At the end the teams have been awarded with the certificates.
