The 3rd republic students’ contest of high schools “the language as the leading way to the career” took place in Nov 17-18 in the Azerbaijan State Marine Academy by the contribution of the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan Republic. After the terms of the contest has been clarified to the participants the students made their reports. 8 students of our university took active part of this contest. Our students awarded with the certificates for their excellent presentations and actuality of presented subjects. The rector of the Academy, docent Mr. Chingiz Aliyev expressed his thanks to the all participants for their being active and wished luck to their scientific activity. It should be noted that the professor Nigar Isgandarova,the head of department of the foreign languages and academic personnel of the university made the big attempts in order for the preparation of the presentations of the students. The students, making the speech in foreign language, bravely proved once again that the language is an important aspect leads to the career.
