The Scientific Board of the University held its regular meeting on February 8. The rector of the university Mr. E. Huseynov made an opening speech and unveiled an agenda of the board to the members. Thereby an agenda was approved and the discussions accordingly got started.  

The members: an assoc. professor Mr. I. Gurbanov (director of Education methodical Office), an assoc. professor Mr. G. Atayev (vise rector on Distant, Corresponding and Additional Education) and an assoc. professor Mr. R. Huseynov (vise rector on Humanitarian issues) widely spoke about the results of autumn exam session of the students of master degree. They notified that the university has established an examination headquarter due to the Order of Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan Republic. The key goal of this task is to arrange the transparency and objectiveness of the evaluation process of students’ knowledge during the exams, to examine all appeals and complaints dealing with the exams and to remove all misprints on time. It was noted as well that the headquarter office still has not faced with a serious compliant. Even, the parents and mass media had a chance to observe the exam process as well and that was conducted in the form of monitoring. 

Besides, the head of Career Center Mr. Z. Bunyatov made a speech and he spoke about the integration of the graduators to the labor market and about the development of experience exchange programs. He notified that the Center is structural part of the university and it has planned its activity for both bachelor and master degree levels. The key goal of the center is to guide the students in order to plan the career and to train them for the world of work. The obligations of the center are consisting of improvement of student’s knowledge and practice, and meanwhile to realize the organizational, informational, consulting, educational and enlightening works for them.  

Scientific secretary, Professor Mr. A. Huseynov unveiled the subjects of scientific works and the names of scientific advisors to the board members and thereby the members have approved them accordingly by the open voting. At the same time Mr. A. Huseynov informed the members about the works submitted to the Education Methodic Board in order to get the right of publication. Hereinafter, the board made a decision in order to provide the education methodic works with the right of publication.  In the process of the meeting, the board has adopted regulations for assessing of the activity of academic staff.  In the end, the members have approved board resolution.
