Azerbaijani people are popular in the world with their culture, art, national and moral values. A culture is one of the main attributes of the moral world and national existence of the each nation. Since the Republic of Azerbaijan has gained independence, a lot of works done in the field of culture and art as well. The great person Mr. Haydar Aliyev has owned invaluable services and played a big role for the preservation of our cultural heritage, and meanwhile for the development and prorogation of that worldwide. A care and support to our national and moral values rendered by the great leader Haydar Aliyev brought about a considerable growth in the moral life of modern Azerbaijan. 
On April 4, SSU has hosted a review contest of the artistic creative festival among the students from the comprehensive, high and vocational schools arranged by the mutual efforts of the Ministry of Education and Independent Trade Union of Azerbaijan Education Employees (ITUAEE). The festival will be dedicated to the 94th anniversary of Haydar Aliyev’ s birth. The goal of the festival is to bring up the youth generation in the spirit of patriotism and respect to our national values and cultural traditions. Besides, it serves in order to reveal the talented youth and develop their skills and abilities. The jury of the contest was consisting of the following people and they defined the candidates for the next stage:
The rector of Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art Mrs. Farkh Aliyeva, senior lecturer of ASPU and honored art employee Mrs. Naile Mirmammadli, the writer Mr. Baba Vaziroglu, people’s artist of Azerbaijan Republic Mrs. Tarana Muradova, general director of Azerbaijan State Opera and Ballet Theatre Mr. Hafiz Guliyev, soloist of Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre and people’s artist of Azerbaijan Republic Mr. Samir Jafarov, honored art employee Mr. Abdul Mahmudov, the teacher of Azerbaijan National Conservatory and a laureate of international song contests Mr. Arslan Novresli. 
It should be noted that the final stage of the festival will take place on May and the winners will be awarded with the different presents and diplomas by the Ministry of Education and ITUAEE.
