Local partner universities made presentations on their pilot programs
From April 23 to 27, the training for the TEMPUS project entitled “The Establishment of a Foundation for the integration of disabled people into HEIs of Azerbaijan” (ESFIDIP) was held at Macedonian University in Greece. Beside the representatives of partner universities, delegations from Ministry of Education, Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, Union of Organizations of Disabled Persons also participated in the training. Vice-rector on Science and Innovation, prof. RamazanMammadov, the head of International cooperation department assist prof. TurqayHuseynov, senior lecturer of department of Foreign languages, TaranaQuliyeva, and the personnel of International Cooperation section, Samira Mammadova took part on hand to SSU.
In accordance with the work plan of a project, representatives of Macedonian University shared their experience on communication with disabled students and the usage of supportive facilities. Local partner universities made presentations on their pilot programs, and also informed about the activities of Centers for disabled students.
It should be reported that, the TEMPUS project entitled “The Establishment of a Foundation for the integration of disabled people into HEIs of Azerbaijan” (ESFIDIP) terminates on May 31, 2017, and the last conference of the project will be held in Khazar University, the coordinator of project, from May 15 to 16. The partners of the project are: University of Lodz, Poland, University of Graz, Austria, University of Macedonia, Greece, Azerbaijan State Economic University, Nakhchivan State University, Ganja State University, Lankaran State University.
