On June 23, the meeting was held with working group on startup projects under the leadership of vice-rector on Science and innovations professor Ramazan Mammadov.
The dean of Engineering faculty Ulduz Aghayev, the dean of faculty of Chemistry and biology, associate professor Mahal Muradov, the department head of Information and computer technics, docent Qadir Mansurov, department head of  Automation of processes, professor Cavanshir Mammadov, scientific employee of laboratory of Electroenergetics’ problems Farmayil Ismayilov, the chairman of International cooperation section Turqay Huseynov participated in the event.
Vice-rector Ramazan Mammadov notified that, holding this kind of projects, joining of young people with ideas to startup, as well as expanding the activity of startup school serving to objects of converting new ideas of creative youth to commercial business structure are very significant matters. He emphasized that, realization of these projects contributes to the improvement of youth’ entrepreneurial spirit and increases their business potential. The initial discussion was carried on projects presented by students of faculty of Engineering, Chemistry and biology, Physics and electroenergetics and the possibility of project development in scientific-research laboratories of our university was explored. Organization of working groups consisting of specialists on elected projects, conducting of technical expertise of projects and their commercialization were among proposed matters.
After all, ideas were exchanged on development of entrepreneurship and startup activity, its future perspectives.
