Heydar Aliyev: Teaching is highly valued profession in a society.  There is no so glorious job as teaching

Teachers are doing one of society's most valuable jobs.  Teachers have the very important responsibility of shaping the lives of young, impressionable people. With this responsibility comes great pride and joy. Therefore, all teachers should strive for what can be considered to be a "good teacher." A good teacher can be defined as someone who always pushes students to want to do their best while at the same time trying to make learning interesting as well as creative. Preparation of young generation for independent life and formation of its outlook begin from student years. Nowadays, professor-teaching staff which works at Sumgayit State University devotes the life to the worthwhile job – teaching. Basira Humay gizi Mammadova and Rahila Ismayil gizi Mammadova, docents of the Department of oil chemistry and chemical engineering are the authors of about 80 scientific works, 15 inventions and more than 100 scientific works, 20 methodical instructions, 5 textbooks, respectively. They devoted half of their lives to Sumgayit State University. They have retired this year in the presence of professor-teaching staff being awarded with honorary certificate and remuneration. Everybody thanked them for their work and also rector for care and value shown to teachers. 
In the meeting, rector Professor Elkhan Huseynov noted that when we pay attention on our scholars’ activities we see that they played irreplaceable role in formation of our students as experts. Their service will be a nice memorial for both teachers and students all time.
