On November 30, professor of Pskov State University Vladimir Prokofyev held a seminar for teachers of Department of Biology and its Teaching Methods in the Faculty of Chemistry and Biology in Sumgayit State University through the Student Scientific Society.
In the seminar, Professor Vladimir Prokofyev, dean of natural sciences, psychology and medical education of above mentioned university noted that he sees SSU as more developed and modernized every time he visits it. He talked about history, present and international relations of his university, as well as successful scientific and educational cooperation. He notified that mutual scientific exchange is being successfully realized between SSU and PSU. Thus, SSU students were awarded with certificates participating in Youth Scientific-Practical Conference in PSU. He expressed his hope that bilateral relations will develop dynamically in the future.
Dean, docent of chemistry and biology faculty Mahal Muradov greeted the guest in the seminar and noted that arrival of foreign scholars at our university has already become a tradition. It positively influences learning world experience. He also added that large-scale reforms are held in order to raise the level of education and adjust it to international standards. 
At the end of the seminar, Professor V.Prokofyev exchanged his ideas with teachers.
