On December 25, Information day about projects of “Erasmus+” was held with the organization of vice-rectorate for Foreign relations of Baku Engineering University and with the office of “National Erasmus+”. The representatives of Azerbaijan Ministry of Education and higher educational institutions, delegation of European Union to Azerbaijan, as well as head of the Department of International partnership of Sumgayit State University associate professor Turgay Huseynov and Samira Mammadova, the methodist of the department; Professor Javanshir Mammadov, the head of the department of Process automation and Lala Bunyatova, the chief of SSS participated in the event. 
Professor Havar Mammadov, rector of Baku Engineering University commenced the event and widely spoke about foreign relations of BEU and the role of international programs like Erasmus+ in establishing these relations. Later deputy head of department of Science, higher and secondary education of Ministry of Education Shahin Bayramov gave information about State Strategy on improvement of education in Azerbaijan Republic. He noted that, holding of this kind of events plays a significant role in informing the universities about international projects. 
Elnara Taghiyeva, the representative of European Union thanked to administration of BEU for organization of the event. She emphasized European Union’s special attention to the growth of education and informed about participation statistics of Azerbaijan universities in the projects. The head of Baku office of Erasmus+ Parviz Baghirov spoke about the activity of national agency of Erasmus+ program, its target groups, general purposes and relations with the universities. He notified that, our country has joined to international education projects since 1995; 45 large projects have been realized through this program from Azerbaijan. 
The event went on with the speech of speakers about the program.
