On January 31, the next training on “The Next Training Was Held on “Heydar Aliyev’s State Youth Policy” at SSU”  was held at Heydar Aliyev school of Sumgayit State University.
Rector Professor Elkhan Huseynov opening the event noted that young people’s role in progress of the country, its economy, political, scientific and cultural life is significant. “If look through history of Azerbaijan, we will see that young people played specific role in every stage of it. In fact, if leading class is young, it means there is development and integration. In a word, every highly educated young is a future savior for nation. That’s why youth policy of the state is essential. Leader of the policy is Heydar Aliyev. In 1969-1982, when Heydar Aliyev led the republic he opened hundreds of educational institutions, youth centers, military schools; thousands of Azerbaijani youth studied at prestigious high schools of USSR. After his return to power youth policy was priority for Heydar Aliyev. Young people began to work in socio-political, economic and cultural spheres of the country. The main purpose of the policy was to grow modern patriotic generation and use their potential for the development of the state”. 
Rector also noted that future of Azerbaijan is in the hands of young people. There are child and youth organizations in the country. State policy makes young people more active in various fields of the country. 
In the event participants delivered speeches related to the topic of the training: Docent of History of Azerbaijani and Eastern European people department, deputy chairman for youth affairs of Sumgayit city organization of New Azerbaijan Party Elmar Khalilov – “Heydar Aliyev’s modern youth policy”, acting chief of Sumgayit City Youth and Sports head office Mubariz Bashirov – “On promotion of Heydar Aliyev’s youth policy in Sumgayit”, teacher of Azerbaijani language and linguistics department, PhD in philology Nemat Ibayev – “Volunteering movement of Azerbaijani youth”, senior lecturer of Pedagogy and psychology department, PhD in psychology Sevar Mirzayeva – “Ilham Aliyev is a follower of Heydar Aliyev’s youth policy”, a third year student of Physics and electroenergetics faculty Nijat Huseynov – “Student youth organization is a propagandist of Heydar Aliyev"s ideas”.
