On February 6, first meeting of scientific seminar within FD.02.193 Dissertation Board was held in Sumgayit State University. The Board was instituted by the order of Supreme Attestation Commission within President of Azerbaijan Republic. 
Vice-rector on Science and innovations, doctor of Philological sciences, Professor Ramazan Mammadov congratulated seminar members and wished them success. Emphasizing the period of development of our country and achievements gained in all fields, he notified:“Improvement of education system is one of the priority directions for Azerbaijan, because education is a strategic area for every country and the future of every nation. There is no growth without education. It should be noted that, Azerbaijani society, especially young generation has great interest to education and innovations. Our country has rich education traditions, strong intellectual and cadre potential. The traditions formed for many years should be improved by considering new society. I am sure that, Scientific seminar of Dissertation Board which was instituted for the first time in the history of Sumgayit State University will function effectively and will contribute to the growth of country’s cadre potential. 
Afterwards, the discussion of the issues on the agenda of Scientific seminar was run. Professor Aqil Huseynov, doctor of technical sciences, head of Department of Information technologies and programming, chairman of Scientific seminar congratulated the members and informed them about subject matter. He noted that, the agenda was the discussion of dissertation on “Development of methodical bases for indirect measurement of dynamics parameters of catalyst circulation in the process of cracking”. It was presented for getting academic degree of PhD on specialty of 3337.01 – Information-measurement and management systems by Afat Huseynova, PhD student of Department of Process automation. She gave broad information to meeting attendees about her dissertation work. The following persons made speeches about dissertation: scientific guide Professor Ali Naghiyev; Sabir Khalilov, docent of Department of Information and computer technics and Shafahat Rahimov, docent of Department of Information and computer technics. Seminar members took an active part in discussion of dissertation. Defense of dissertation work was recommended to be admitted to the next stage by a unanimous decision of the members. Professor Aqil Huseynov wished Afat Huseynova success in next stages and expressed his gratitude to Seminar members for active participation.
