On February 8, next presentation of Mevlana Exchange Program was held on technical faculties at the University. Associate professor Qafar Atayev, vice-rector for Correspondence, distant and extra education opened the event and spoke about effective organization of work done for establishing bilateral relations with foreign universities and for adapting to international standards. He noted that, Mevlana Exchange Program is of great importance for learning high quality education and international practice. The Program enables interchange of student and academic staff between universities. In contrast to other exchange programs, Mevlana Exchange Program covers all higher education institutions over the world. Vice-rector Qafar Atayev notified that, realization of the Program has a significant role in improvement of international scientific relations and strengthening scientific potential of SSU. For this reason regular participation of academic staff in such programs is substantial.
Dilara Amiraslanova, the senior methodist of International Cooperation Office delivered presentation about Mevlana Exchange Program and gave broad information on participation procedures, scholarships, documents and Turkish universities.
Afterwards Samir Karimli, the lecturer of Department of History and its teaching methods gave detailed information about his exchange experience in Adnan Menderes University of Turkey.
Head of International Cooperation Office Samira Mammadova also informed professor-teaching staff about international exchange programs and invited teachers to benefit from these programs.
The event went on with discussion of questions about the topic.
