On February 9, next meeting of Scientific Board was held. Rector of University Professor Elkhan Huseynov commenced the meeting, greeted Board members and spoke about substantial measures carried out for perspective development of the University. He noted that, the renovation of student dormitory in these days, coating of second educational building, capital repairs of subsidiary exit doors of first educational building, establishing technique park and exhibition complex under the sky and construction of 2 new 7-storey buildings are intended. 
Naib Hajiyev, vice-rector for Economic issues gave broad information about technical substantiations and projects, as well as preparation for accomplishing those works.
Afterwards, reports of following people about the results of exam session of autumn semester of 2017-2018 academic year were listened: director of Teaching Methodical center docent Isabal Qurbanov – on Bachelor’s degree; vice-rector for Correspondence, distant and extra education docent Qafar Atayev – on correspondence students; head of Doctorate and Master program’s office docent Sabir Khalilov – on Master’s degree and director of Sumgayit State Technical College docent Matanat Pirguliyeva – on college. The speakers pointed out success indicators and other statistic data of every faculty. 
Scientific secretary Professor Mukhtar Samadov noted that, publishing rights    were given for 9 textbooks when he was speaking about those rights. 
Then they petitioned Supreme Attestation Committee under President of Azerbaijan Republic for giving scientific title of docent to 3 employees of the University.
Current issues were discussed at the end of the meeting.
